Fractional Ablative CO2 lasers
The Geometric Shapes of the tiny lasers

Carbon Dioxide Lasers produce a very specific wavelength of light in the infrared spectrum (10,600 nm). The active laser is mixture of 3 gases consisting of 10-20% of Carbon Dioxide, 10-20% of nitrogen, and the remainder is helium.
Carbon dioxide lasers are used to initialise collagen production on the surface and below the skin. Any skin building, renewing, smoothing, firming, or any pigmentation corrections require a catalyst (small injury) to initialise collagen  production. Collagen provides structure, strength and support though-out the body. One of the key functions of collagen is it helps fibroblasts to form in the dermis, (the middle skin layer) where new cells grow. Although collagen production is continuously taking place, as we age, collagen production reduces, and also the quality of the collagen’s quality diminishes. Some of the tell tale signs that collagen production is declining are, the skin begins to sag,  wrinkling becomes more evident, and hallowing around the eyes.
So how do Fractional Ablative Co2 lasers  help?
Skin collagen can be more precisely initialised at both via the Outer skin Layer ( the Epidermis ) and the second layer of skin ( the dermis). Fractional Co2 lasers create tiny microscopic holes where the laser travels, both to and through the epidermis and down to the dermis creating  tiny injuries,. These tiny injuries stimulate collagen production, the  damaged cells are replaced with fresh new ones, leading to a more youthful radiant appearance.
So why use the Carbon Dioxide medium?
Carbon dioxide  dioxide gas lasers are very attracted to water, %67 of skin is made up of water, so this natural attraction to  biological tissues becomes very effective for targeting collagen production  The laser uses pulses of laser light penetrate the skin’s surface, via tiny lasers  to fractionally Ablate  outer skin layer the Epidermis. The tiny lasers then reach down to the dermis, or middle layer, fractionally heating up the dermis and ,stimulating the growth of new collagen.  Carbon dioxide is also not attracted to collagen making it the ideal laser treatment for precise targeting skin correction.

Fractional Ablative C02 Laser

Create a tiny geometric pattern that penetrates  both the outer and deeper
layers of the skin.
 This precise microscopic laser
probes minimise tissue injury of the
surrounding skin layers. It shares both a
  cut through and probe functionality.

Fractional Ablative Carbon Dioxide lasers
are very effective on the
following conditions.

Photoaging

Photoaging, also know as sun damage, is the premature aging of skin caused by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or tanning beds. It’s responsible for most visible signs of aging, including wrinkles, age spots, and broken capillaries. When exposed to Utraviiolent radiaation  the DNA of the cells, lipids of cell membranes, protein are damaged,

Birthmarks

A Birthmark is any mark that presents on the skin at birth, or develops very soon after. They are common and many children have a mark of some sort. Most are harmless, and some go away as the child grows.

Rhinophyma

Rhinophyma is a skin condition that causes the nose to enlarge, become re, bmpy, and bulbous. It’s a type of rosacea, a chronic inflammatory skin condition. It is thpcallh dkagnosed between age 50 and 70 and more common in men than women. Fair skin complexion people are more likely to have Rhinophyma.

Skin Aging

Skin aging is characterised by features such as wrinkling, loss of elasticity, laxity, and rough-textured appearance. This aging process is accompanied with phenotypic changes in cutaneous cells as well as structural and functional changes in extracellular matrix components such as collagens and elastin.

Skin Sagging

Skin sagging is the result of a loss of elasticity and collagen in skin, which causes it to appear loose or wrinkled. It can occur due to ageing, genetics, environmental factors like sun exposure or lifestyle choices like smoking.

Melasma

Melasma is a chronic skin condition presenting as brown to grey-brown patches, primarily affecting the face. It’s more prevalent in women and is often linked to hormonal changes. Melasma is not only triggered by UV radiation from the sun but also by visible light, including that emitted from device screens and ceiling lights, making comprehensive light protection crucial. Sun protection, including the use of tinted sunscreens that can block visible light, is a key preventive measure.

Acne Scarring

Acne Scars are permanent marks or changes to the Skin’s texture.left behind after the acne has healed.

Moles

Moles, also known as nevi, are a common type of skin growth. They often appear as small, dark brown spots that are caused by clusters of pigment-forming cells called melanocytes. Most people have 10 to 45 moles that appear during childhood and the teenage years. How these moles look may change over time. They also may fade over time.

Keloid and hypertrophic scars

A keloid scar is a firm, smooth, hard growth that occurs as a result of excessive scar formation. Keloids occur after skin injury; rarely, keloids can occur spontaneously without any significant preceding skin injury. They may develop on any part of the body and extend beyond the original wound margin, although the upper chest, shoulders, ears, and neck are especially prone to them

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are long, narrow streaks or stripes that occur when the skin is stretched too quickly.. This type of scarring happens when the skin connot resume normal form after a period of intense growth, often due to pregnancy, weight gainm weight loss or puberty.
